Gay Cororaton is Senior Economist and the Director of Housing & Commercial Research at the Research Group of the National Association of REALTORS®, a trade association of 1.3+ million members.
She manages the production and delivery of NAR’s proprietary housing statistics on existing home sales, home prices, affordability, and inventory; oversees NAR’s residential, commercial, land, and international market trends research and surveys; and analyzes developments related to the economy and real estate, both housing and commercial.
She has an MS in Statistical Science from George Mason University, an MA and BS in Economics from the University of the Philippines, and an MS in Industrial Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific (Philippines). She holds a Certified Business Economist™ (CBE) designation from the National Association for Business Economics, a designation that is earned by and signifies demonstration of a mastery of knowledge and practice of economics.
