Marla Esser Cloos cares about the home products used and how those choices affect our community. It’s closer and more real than climate change and politics; this is about doing your best for our families in our homes. She shares what makes a green home green, why it matters and how to do it a bit at a time or all at once. Marlas personal mission is to empower people, especially women, in their homes and families by sharing how green products and a focus on sustainability offer a safer, healthier, and more comfortable home. She is host of the “Green Gab” podcast and manager of Everyday Green Home, an online green shop. Her book, Living Green Effortlessly: Simple Choices to a Better Home, a 2018 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award finalist, was published by NAHB BuilderBooks. Marla is an NAHB Master Certified Green Professional and LEED AP.
